You write to find Yourself
You write to find yourself. You
write to help yourself heal and express your emotions in the most honest way;
to blank pages that will never judge you and eyes that won’t criticize because
they are only yours. And your wet, teary eyes always understand. But other
times writing doesn’t help like it’s supposed to and you find yourself half way
down a single page in your journal with nothing left to say. Words can’t
express everything. As much as we may try, as much as we want to tell our mind
exactly what our body is feeling, why we keep shaking and can’t stop crying,
sometimes we just can’t. So, we just have to experience it. Take it all in and
imagine the day where you won’t feel like this. You will be surrounded by the
people you love in a place that makes you feel calm. And then, finally, maybe
words can explain. Maybe now you can look back on that tragic, sorrowful moment
and use words to explain it. “I was sad, but now I am happy.”
